Micron

When my eldest daughter was 6 years old, just before our family relocated to Singapore, she used to say to me every night, “Mom, I love you as much as millions of microns.”

I found it endearing as millions and microns are contrasting units of measurement. This heartfelt expression evokes feelings of fairy tales, admiration, eternal and passionate love, and dreams shared between a mother and daughter.

Inspired by this, I created an artwork symbolizing infinity using vibrant and cheerful colors. I utilized ice relief paste and glass pearls to capture this everlasting love. It’s up to you to maintain this positive expression, as it serves as a philosophy to remind us to be resilient and open-minded.
