In Chinese culture, lucky numbers like 2 and 8 are very important. The number 2 represents pairs, balance, and harmony. The number 8 sounds like “wealth” and “prosperity,” making it the most fortunate number.

My mother lives in Vesoul, a quiet town in Eastern France. Her house number is 28, which matches my love for the number 8 and my two daughters. I often include the numbers 2 and 8 in my artwork. I am also open to using other numbers and adapting backgrounds based on personal beliefs.
