Opening

This artwork marks the beginning of my journey as an artist. A decade ago, building our home, I searched for a large, textured piece for our living room. Finding none, I created “Opening” myself. It now hangs proudly on our largest wall.

With a fine art and graphic design background, I blend techniques to express emotion. I use recycled materials—paper, aluminium, fabric, even medical gauze—for texture. Through “Opening,” I show: no rules, subjective perfection, open interpretation. Everyone is an artist with practice, creativity, and imagination.
