This artwork criticises excessive consumption. Originating from France like me, I target marketing tactics and deceptive “sales” promotions that manipulate consumers—making people think they are saving money when they are actually spending.
Using fruit and vegetable packaging, I created a mixed media collage with mall brochures and catalogues. The vibrant colours make the word “SALE” stand out from a distance.
Through my art, I voice my stance against mass consumption and consumerism, which harm our environment.
